As a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Float Pool, you will provide care to infants, children, adolescents and young adults in numerous units. An RN in this role is familiar with complex medical histories, innovative surgical procedures, pain modalities, and comprehensive nutritional support. Your primary duties will include:
-Providing direct nursing care.
-Monitoring, recording, and communicating patients' conditions as appropriate.
-Preparing patient care plans.
-Administering prescribed medications.
-Performing bedside hand-off reports and thorough bedside daily rounds.

-Communicates effectively with patients and team members.

-Can critically think and problem solve for patients' best interests.
-Can provide emotional, spiritual, and psychological support to patients.
